The Lake County Medical Society Invites You to Hear

Arseny Gusev, a young pianist and composer, who was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1998. He has been studying music since the age of five. In 2017 he was accepted to the world-renown Juilliard School of Music in New York City, but instead he chose to take a double-major in piano and composition at the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of Profs. Sergei Babayan (piano) and Keith Fitch (composition).

Arseny performs many of the great masters including Mozart,   Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Chopin and of course Rachmaninoff .  His repertoire also includes a large number of his own compositions: two sonatas (10′ and 15′), toccata (5 ‘), 24 postludes (50’), Three Movements in Twilight (7 ‘), “Gamayun and a prophetic bird” (4’).
